   Private Storage: We offer private storage for organisations dealing with sensitive data or stringent compliance needs. Available on an enterprise plan only. With private storage, you can choose to store your data in a dedicated place of your choosing. Bring Your Own Storage (BYOS) on AWS or Google Cloud OR an isolated storage solution and we'll connect to it.
   
   Note:
   
   Your data will be stored in the EU, but some parts are processed in the US (ASR + other AI services).
   
   

2. Data Encryption
   
   

   All user data, including transcripts, recordings, calendar events, emails & settings are encrypted end-to-end using 256-bit AES encryption for data at rest and TLS 1.2 encryption for data in transit.
   
   

3. Data Ownership
   
   

   You have complete ownership of all your data. Echo acts as a custodian of your data but does not share or use it for AI training purposes.
   
   

4. Data Type Collected

   
   We collect and store user content and user metadata.

   • User Content - Transcripts, summaries, audio & video recordings, and any other derivatives of such.

   • User Metadata - Calendar metadata, meeting participants's emails, and names, usage logs, user settings.
